Masjid Baitul Muttaqin, Bakit. Masjid Tua Di Pulau Bangka.

Keberadaan masjid di Kampung Bakit dapat dilihat pada peta yang berjudul Opgenomen door den Topografischen Dienst in 1932-1933, Bakit DD 29,14 yang direproduksi tahun 1935.
Dalam peta tersebut sudah ada masjid yang masih menggunakan kayu (warna hitam) dengan terletak tidak jauh dari laut. Sebelah barat masjid terdapat jembatan kecil / gertak yang terbuat dari kayu atau bambu (van hout of bamboe)
Posisi masjid tersebut sama dengan posisi saat ini yang dikenal dengan nama Masjid Baitul Muttaqin dan kini sudah permanen.
