Tradisi 7 Likur dan Refleksi Akhir Ramadhan.

Bagi generasi tua atau orang yang hidup diperkampungan, mungkin tak asing dengan istilah 7 likur. Namun tidak begitu dengan anak generasi sekarang, terlebih yang hidup diperkotaan.
Likur adalah semacam lampu pelita yang awalnya dibuat dari bambu, kemudian diberi sumbu dari sabut kelapa. Bisa juga menggunakan jarit, kain bekas pakaian yang sudah tidak terpakai. Sebagai bahan bakar biasanya digunakan minyak tanah. Lampu ini kemudian dinyalakan pada malam hari layaknya obor.
Seiring perkembangan zaman, lampu likur juga mengalami perubahan dan penyesuaian.
Didaerah tertentu yang kesulitan mendapatkan bambu, orang menggantikannya dengan kaleng atau botol bekas minuman dengan bahan bakar solar. Hal ini mungkin mengingat minyak tanah yang susah didapatkan. Kalaupun ada, harganya sudah tidak ekonomis.
“Buat apa sih kegiatan jadul (jaman dulu) itu masih dipertahankan hingga sekarang?,
Kan saat ini lampu-lampu listrik sudah banyak dan terang benderang!”.
Mungkin diantara kita pernah mendengar hal seperti itu.
Mari kita kupas tipis-tipis.
Tradisi menyalakan lampu likur dilakukan pada malam-malam akhir di bulan Ramadhan, bulan dimasa umat muslim diwajibkan berpuasa. Hitungan awal menyalakan lampu likur biasanya dimulai dari malam ke-21. Pada malam itu, orang-orang akan menyalakan 1 lampu likur atau disebut Selikur. Besoknya, dua lampu likur yang akan dinyalakan. Hal ini terus berlanjut hingga puncaknya dimalam ke tujuh, yang disebut Malam 7 Likur.
Saat ini, lampu likur tidak hanya sekedar lampu obor yang sederhana. Lampu likur berkembang ke seni hias yang menawan dengan berbagai bentuk dan rupa. Lampu likur ditata sedemikian rupa sehingga membentuk pola yang indah. Tak jarang gambaran itu adalah suatu peristiwa penting yang terjadi dimasa lampau. Mereka seolah bercerita tentang sejarah kehidupan dimana kita bisa mengambil hikmah darinya.
Mengapa Tradisi 7 Likur dilaksanakan pada akhir bulan Ramadhan?
Dari berbagai sumber, tradisi malam 7 likur dikaitkan dengan malam Lailatul Qodar, malam kemuliaan dimana turunnya Al-Qur’an dari lauhil mahfuzh ke langit dunia, sebelum diturunkan kepada nabi Muhammad SAW. Peristiwa itu diyakini terjadi di bulan suci ramadhan, pada malam-malam ganjil di sepuluh hari terakhir. Tak heran banyak orang yang “memburu” malam ini dengan memperbanyak membaca Al-Qur’an dan ibadah-ibadah lainnya. Untuk memperingati dan menghidupkan suasana malam tersebut, maka dinyalakan lampu likur agar suasana lebih semarak.
Kemudian kita tahu, bahwa sepuluh hari terakhir puasa adalah masa-masa krusial, saat-saat genting dimana semangat beribadah tidak se-exited seperti diawal ramadhan. Bahkan fokus sudah berubah dari puasa ke hari raya. Fikiran dan kegiatan diarahkan ke hal-hal yang berbau lebaran, sehingga kita melupakan bahwa sesungguhnya kita masih berada di bulan suci ramadhan dan berada pada hari-hari paling penting. Kita Gagal fokus.
Untuk menjaga nuansa ramadhan dan memperingati turunnya Qur’an, saudara-saudara kita “menghidupkannya” dengan cara yang semarak, dengan menyalakan lampu likur dimalam hari.
Al-Qur’an sebagai penerang jalan kehidupan, dan Likur disimbolkan sebagai cahaya yang diharapkan mampu menerangi gelapnya malam. Malam-malam terakhir ramadhan yang mulai dilupakan.
Kita patut bersyukur dan memberi apresiasi kepada saudara-saudara kita yang masih menjaga tradisi 7 likur, mereka menghidupkan malam-malam di akhir ramadhan, ketika daya sudah melemah dan fokus mulai berpindah, mereka tetap dengan gagah mempertahankan tradisi agar tak punah.
