Keberadaan masjid di Kampung Bencah dapat dilihat pada peta yang berjudul Opgenomen door den Topografischen Dienst in 1932-1933, DD 30,76 yang diterbitkan tahun 1934 yang memuat topografi Kampung Bencah, Pergam dan Serdang.

Dalam peta, masjid berada di sebelah barat jalan raya beraspal yang lebarnya 2-4 meter (verharde weg waarvan de verharding 2-4 m breed).

Di seberang jalan, ada jalan setapak yang menuju ke kebun lada yang melewati aik Batuhampar.

Sementara itu di barat masjid masih berupa hutan karet (rubber) dan masjid sudah permanen.
