Menelisik peta topografi Sungaiselan yang berjudul Opgenomen door den Topografischen Dienst in 1929-1930 DD 30,25 yang diterbitkan tahun 1932, ada 2 masjid di kampung ini.
Kampung tersebut kini sudah menjadi dua wilayah administrasi pemerintahan yaitu Desa Sungaiselan Atas dan Keluarahan Sungaiselan.
Dalam tulisan ini kita akan mengulik masjid yang berada di Sungaiselan Atas, yaitu Masjid Annajah.

Berdasarkan peta, masjid berada di tengah kampung yang sebelah selatan dan utara berupa jalan raya verharde weg, waarvan de verharding 2-4 m breed is (jalan beraspal yang lebarnya 2-4 meter).
Masjid terbuat dari batu/ batu bata yang ditandai dengan warna merah atau mungkin semi permanen.
Tidak jauh dari masjid ada jembatan kecil/ gertak yang terbuat dari bambu/ kayu (van hout of bamboe).
Masjid memiliki halaman yang luas, yang ditandai dengan posisi masjid tidak berdekatan dengan jalan raya.
